There are times in history that everything comes to a standstill.
This is such a time.
Just as we have moments in life that are crucial,
like birth, death and marriage,
there are moments in our collective consciousness
that demand attention, love and preparation.

At this moment in our evolution,
While everything around us seems to accelerate,
Like a tornado of change,
We are drawn to the still point of the hurricane.

This is an invitation to come together
To celebrate a new phase in our evolution
as humankind on planet earth.

It is a celebration of our connectedness,
of our similarities and our differences,
of our likes and dislikes,
of everything that makes us human.

At the same time it is a celebration of our planet Mother Earth,
a living breathing organism that supports our life here.
Although so many times taken for granted,
it seems time to honor her:
Time to restore her fragile balance,
to honor the air we breathe, the water we drink,
the soil we stand upon.

And last of all,
it is a celebration for the Great Mystery,
that some call God, others call heaven, spirit, the highest being,
Allah, Buddha or Krishna.

May we give thanks to that which has created us,
That supports and leads us
That eternal light of the soul that gives us direction,
in whichever way we connect to it.

May I invite you in this critical time on earth,
to come together for 7 days,
to laugh, to dance, to cry, to celebrate and rejoice
for our wonderful and miraculous being on this planet.
